Soapbox Innovations

Soapbox was a team collaboration platform for meetings, 1:1s, and alignment, used at enterprise scale by companies like Coca-Cola, Walmart, BMO Financial, and Anthem Insurance. It was named one of the Best Workplaces in Canada in 2016, and its product line eventually evolved into Hypercontext.

I co-founded it and served as CTO from 2010 to 2021, growing the engineering team to 35 and taking the platform from first prototype to Fortune 500 deployments — including bringing AI into the meeting and feedback workflows well before that was table stakes.

Built on Ember and Laravel with MariaDB, running on AWS.
